Our Relatch sets can be used to hold fabric, carpet, and panels just to name a few. They are useful to secure 2 items together, but can be removed easily for access or cleaning. The Relatch can accommodate materials from 1/16” to 7/32” in thickness, while the Receptacle can be used from 1/16” to 1/8”. The back-up plates lock the components in place.

To mount the Relatch, 2 holes need to be made in the material that will be used. The Relatch is then inserted into the material; the back-up plate is then slid over the 2 posts until the back-up plate is tightly up against the material. The Receptacle mounting is very similar. A hole needs to be made in the material; the back-up plate is hen slid over the Receptacle until it is tightly against the material. When the Relatch and Receptacle are mounted to the material, they can be attached together (Fig. 1). Once together (Fig. 2) turn the knob on the Relatch 90° (Fig.3) to secure the Receptacle.
